We saw this clearly with the suspicious death of Garibe Gezer. We saw the racist attack at the funeral of Aysel Tuğluk's mother. We stand by the resistance carried out by the mothers."
The mother of prisoner Nejdet Abi, Meryem Abi, said: "My son was arrested as a result of a tip-off. He is in Van High Security Prison and was sentenced to 45 years. My son is ill. He has a stomach problem. As a mother, I am here too. We don't want dead bodies to come out of prisons anymore. It is persecution. We want justice and equality. Let them release our children."
Zehra Abi, the mother of Prisoner Hisyar Abi, also said: "My son has been in prison in Malatya for 9 months. As a mother, I call out to everyone. I invite all the families of prisoners here. Let them open the doors of prisons, we don't want any mother to cry anymore."
