Today is the 46th day of the indefinite hunger strike carried out by 13 prisoners in Osmaniye T Type Closed Prison. The prisoners began fasting on 21 February in order to protest the rights violations in the prison.

The Association of Families of Prisoners (TUHA-DER) Adana Branch chair Ahmet Doðan said prisoners got a hostile response when they had a meeting with the prison administrator to explain their demands. Doðan warned, “Our friends’ health is deteriorating, they are suffering from serious health issues risking their lives.”
