Prisoners in the Van Type T Closed Prison have had their radios confiscated.
The Van Type T Closed Prison administration has confiscated the prisoners’ FM radios.
Prisoners told their families and lawyers in visits that the radios had been confiscated 4 days ago on the administration’s orders. The prisoners added that the newspapers they received would have news about the prisons cut out, but now they no longer receive any newspapers at all.
The prisoners said they asked why, and were told “it [had been] decided”.
