A group of 58 demonstrators from Sinop and Mersin, including Greenpeace members, staged a protest action by sitting on the steps at the garden entrance of the Assembly. Police warned the demonstrators who showed banners saying “We don’t want nuclear power plant”, “No to dirty nuclear agreement.” As the demonstrators kept their act going, action force units were called to the scene. Demonstrators were arrested and taken to Ankara Police Department.
