Koma Jinen Bilind (KJB), coordination member Ronahi Serhat summarized their target for 2011 saying; “In 2011, our main work will be to strengthen women education and organization and expanding the Lebensraums, approaching strategically to alternative economic activities will form the basis”.
How is the change of religion into pressure on woman experience today?
Woman has been the carrier of cultural valuable beliefs to our day. Each religion advises love, respect, sharing, peace and the good which present themselves in the character of woman who doesn’t hold violence or cruelty. Religion forbids lie, hypocrisy, cruelty, killing, stealing and badness but power follower structures, which take shape as dominant man character, have broken these prohibitions, covered and masked them up in accordance with their own benefits and normalized and legalised them. The dominant man power monopolizes beliefs as well and do all evil on women in particular, children and youngsters. The male dominant system imposes fascism on women and oppressed. This is an unnamed genocide. The context is same, no matter applied by state, uncovered man force or under the cover of traditions.
Which work will you give weight to in 2011?
In 2011, our main work will be to strengthen women education and organization and expanding the Lebensraums, approaching strategically to alternative economic activities will form the basis.
We need to work properly in 2011 on all fields like mother tongue, woman with cultural values, freedom and goodness. Especially the deniying system of Turkish government needs to be locked up in all Lebensraum. Our Leadership’s perspective ‘Language is the geography, culture is the body. Adopt your body. Woman needs to develop her all kinds of freedoms and to defend herself with freedom philosophy’ will also be our perspective in new year.
The power to rise from the meeting of women is the revolutionary power. We will work to make this make an effective move. One of our substantial works will be to continue the Kurdish national woman conference which was held once to turn the Kurdish woman national unity into permanent organizations. Elections will be held in Turkey in Juny of 2011. Despite the fact that the permanent 10 percent election threshold constitutes a subjective and a big intentional impediment to reflect the political will of Kurdish people on the ballot box, I believe that Kurdish women ensure a participation that will render this hinder meaningless. Women will also make electional preparations with their own candidates. We believe that this movement will create major results for the women of Kurdistan and Middle East. We believe that there is nothing women can’t achieve as long as they want. We will have trust, love, belief and profession for our guide woman.
