Socialist Women Assemblies (SKM) meeting kicks off today in Ankara. Hundreds of women will be coming together for the Liberation Congress under the slogan “We have a word to say, we have power to change.”

Among the issues to be discussed is the idea to turn the Congress into some kind of bridge organization between Kurdish and Turkish women. Women from Diyarbakýr, Ýzmir, Rize, Ýstanbul, Trabzon are expected to take part to the meeting to present their proposals and motions.
