The police attacked the statement that Izmir University Solidarity wanted to make in front of the Alsancak Türkan Saylan Cultural Center on Friday in order to support Boğaziçi University students.

26 people were taken into custody and taken to the police headquarters after being examined at Tepecik Training and Research Hospital. It was reported that two young women were strip searched. The women told their lawyers about the strip search and said that they would file a criminal complaint.
