Lawyers of Kurdish people's leader Abdullah Öcalan Rezan Sarıca, Raziye Öztürk, İbrahim Bilmez and Serbay Köklü from the Asrin Law Office have again applied to Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office to be granted a visit to their client.

After 8 years of interruption, lawyers were able to finally meet with their clients on 2 and 22 May, 12 and 18 June and 7 August 2019.

On 23 September 2020 Bursa prosecutor imposed a ban on visits he justified with the Road Map presented by Öcalan in addition to the defense sent to the European Court of Human Rights in 2009.
