MSD Youth Council condemns violations of children rights in Afrin

The occupying Turkish state and their mercenary allies have murdered children in Afrin, deprived them of their rights to study, denied them their security and homes.

Syrian Democratic Council's Aleppo Youth Assembly issued a press release on the violations of Afrin children by the occupying Turkish state.

Photographs of Afrin children who lost their life in the attacks carried out by the occupying Turkish state and their mercenary allies were brought in front of the Council's building during the meeting attended by dozens of students and members of the MSD Youth Assembly.

Statement read by Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) Aleppo Office member Evin Seydo said: "Crimes against children and massacres take place all over the world, and also in Afrin. The occupying Turkish state and their mercenary allies have murdered children in Afrin, deprived them of their rights to study, denied them their security and homes. Where are the world organizations that call for human and children's rights? Why are they silent while these massacres happen? Children had their houses destroyed, their families killed in front of their eyes".

The statement added: "As young people belonging to the Syrian Youth Council, we call on the world public and human rights organizations to act to stop these violations against the new generations".
