Zeynab Jalaliyan's mother: I haven't seen my daughter for 15 years

Zeynab Jalaliyan's mother, Gozel Jalaliyan, stated that she had not seen her daughter for 15 years and called on lawyers to help her.

According to the Political Prisoners Union, Zeynab Jalaliyan was deported to Yazd prison and has not been heard from since May.

The Iranian regime deported the Kurdish woman to Yazd, Kirmasan, Urmia, and finally again to Yazd prison. The continuous deportation from prison to prison is an attempt to make her ‘disappear’. There has been no news from Jalaliyan since she was exiled to Yazd prison.

Her mother, Gozel Celaliyan, spoke for the first time about the situation of her imprisoned daughter.

She said that her daughter had been a prisoner for 15 years and added that she was very worried because she had no news about her health. The woman said that Zeynab had been a prisoner for 15 years and she has not seen her since. She added that no one is allowed to visit her. “I am Zeynab's mother. We want humanity to resolve this situation. I want to see my daughter. They don't show me my daughter. I do not know where she is. I haven't seen her in 15 years."

Gozel Jalaliyan addressed the state officials and said: “I don't know if she is alive or dead. She caught coronavirus, but we never knew about it. Deputies also want to go to see her, but they are not allowed either. I want to go to see my daughter.”
