The three-sided comprehensive operation launched against ISIS gangs in Xazır and Guwerê regions of Mosul yesterday, continues. 10 villages have been liberated within the scope of the operation so far, while the village of Keneşê Mezin, the target of the operation, has been encircled.

A number of gang members have been killed and six peshmergas lost their lives during the operation which is also supported by international coalition aircraft. Fighting in the area continues.

The main road between Omeran village and Giwer-Mosul has also been liberated from ISIS gangs.
