YBŞ (Shengal Resistance Units) General Command and HPG (People's Defense Forces) Shengal Command have released a statement regarding their joint operation against ISIS gangs  in Shilo Valley.

According to the statement, ISIS gangs have been inflicted severe blows in the operation started by YBŞ forces with the support of HPG-YJA Star (Free Women's Troops) guerrillas in Shilo Valley on October 8.

As many as 100 members of the gangs were killed during the operation, and bodies of over 20 and a large quantity of ammunition belonging to them were seized.

In the wake of the operation they launched in Shilo valley on October 8, YBŞ, HPG-YJA Star troops also inflicted severe blows on the gang groups in Shengal town centre.
