12 including HDP members taken into custody in Van
12 people including HDP officials have been taken into custody in house raids in Van province.
Police forces carried out an operation against İpekyolu district executives in Van province this morning.
As a result of house raids, 12 people have been taken into custody, including Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Van provincial co-chair Tahirhan Sayyiğit, İpekyolu district executives Nuri Gür, Ali Beyaz and Fikret Duman.
Identities of the other 8 detainees were not immediately clear.
