14 areas in Şirnak closed for "security" reasons
Entry and exit to 14 regions on the border of Şirnak, Cizre, Silopi, Uludere, Güçlükonak and Beytüşşebap were prohibited for "security" reasons.
14 regions between Şirnak (Sirnex), Cizre (Cizîr), Silopi (Silopiya), Uludere (Qileban), Güçlükonak (Basa) and Beytüşşebap (Elkê) have been declared "temporary special security zones" for 15 days on "security" grounds.
The Governorship of Şirnak said in a statement that the regions have been declared as 'Temporary Special Security Zone' between 29 August (included) and 12 September 2023 (included).”
