15 guerrillas martyred in Hakkari, Mardin and Şırnak

HPG reported that three guerrillas were martyred in the countryside of Hakkari's Çukurca (Çele) district, 5 guerrillas in Mardin's Omerya area and 7 others in Şırnak's Cudi area.

HPG/YJA Star guerrillas carried out a revolutionary operation against the soldiers deployed on Koordine hill in Hakkari's Çukurca district at 06:30 this morning. 34 soldiers were verified killed and 5 others were wounded as a result of the action.

As heavy clashes in this area are ongoing, 3 guerrillas fell martyr during this operation.

On the other hand, Turkish army launched an operation in Mardin's Omerya area with the participation of hundreds of soldiers on November 29.

HPG said 5 guerrillas fell putting up a brave resistance during the clashes in the operation area, adding that ID details of the fallen guerrillas will be announced once clarified.

HPG reported that Turkish army launched another operation in Gırê Hırmo hamlet in Cudi area of Şırnak on November 28. Severe clashes erupted between guerrillas and Turkish troops at 11:00 the same day. While Turkish army intensely shelled the area with howitzer and mortar fire in addition to strikes by Cobra helicopters, 7 guerrillas were martyred during the clashes.

The operation was retreated at 03:30 on November 29.
