19-year-old Mahsum Akdoğan got heavily wounded after police shot him in the belly earlier today after the imposition of a fifth curfew in the district yesterday.

The youth's body remained at the scene of the armed attack for a while as police deny access to ambulances into the area under curfew and attack. People around could finally reach the scene and managed to carry him in a blanket to an ambulance which rushed him to Nusaybin State Hospital. He lost his life at hospital soon later.

Akdoğan's body will undergo a post-mortem examination.
