25-year-old İyeç Çakır was shot by police after he allegedly disobeyed policeman's warning to stop as he drove his home in Saçax village from Payîzava (Gürpınar) district to Elbak (Başkale) district in the evening of September 27.

Çakır was receiving treatment in intensive care unit in the private Lokman Hekim Hospital for 28 days and he has lost his life early this morning.

Çakır will be laid to rest in Başkale district.
