HPG Press Center released a statement providing information about a recent action by guerrillas of the Free Women’s Troops (YJA-STAR) in Northern Kurdistan.

The statement said the following;

“At 06:00 on March 8, the Turkish army started an operation in Fındikê area on ount Gabar in the countryside of Şırnak province. YJA-STAR forces put a unit of the enemy under surveillance and hit it effectively from two directions at 09:50 in the morning. 4 Turkish soldiers were confirmed killed in the action, after which the Turkish army retrieved the dead and wounded soldiers from the scene with Sikorsky helicopters.”
