7 Turkish soldiers killed in actions by YJA-STAR guerrillas

The Press and Communications Center of People’s Defense Forces (HPG-BIM) released a statement providing information about the most recent actions carried out by guerrillas.
According to the HPG statement, YJA-STAR (Free Women’s Troops) guerrillas hit a secret unit of the Turkish army near Hill Bayrak in Barzan region of southern Kurdistan at 10:40 on May 8. The action, which was carried out within the scope of Martyr Agirî and Martyr Pîroz Revolutionary Campaign, left 4 soldiers dead.
Within the scope of Martyr Ozan and Martyr Roza Revolutionary Campaign, YJA-STAR guerrillas targeted the Turkish military units stationed in the countryside of Erzincan’s Kemah district at 09:00 on May 7. The emplacements and tents of the Turkish forces were put under intense fire, as a result of which 3 soldiers were killed.
