The Press Liaison Centre of the Women's Defence Units (YPJ) released a statement providing information about retaliatory actions carried out by female fighters of the Serêkaniyê Military Council to pay tribute to the fighters who fell in the battle of Qereqozaq and Tishrin.

The actions were organised in response to the increasingly ongoing attacks by the occupying Turkish state and allied mercenaries of the so-called Syrian National Army (SNA) against the areas of Qereqozaq bridge and Tishrin dam.

YPJ announced that the radar system in the base of the occupying Turkish state in the Menax village of Serêkaniyê was completely destroyed.

In addition, an SNA mercenary was killed by a female sniper in the village of Um El Kêf in Til Temir district of Cizîr Canton.
