Reports say earthquake victims in Rojhilat didn’t receive aid and people who lost their lives have been buried in mass graves.
People who lost their lives in the earthquake in Bashur (Southern) and Rojhilat (Eastern) Kurdistan in the worst affected areas like villages in Selas, Bawecan, Deşta Zehwa, Dalahû and Ezgile towns in Kirmanshan have been buried in mass graves.
People say even though it has been days since the earthquake, they haven’t received aid and their relatives who lost their lives in the earthquake were buried in mass graves.
A large proportion of residents of Kiwêk Hesen, Kiwêk Mecîd, Kiwêk Sîfor, Kiwêk Hatemî, Îmam Ebas, Tepe Maran, Tayşeyî, Kêlespî and Cebir villages in Kirmanshan lost their lives in the earthquake. Reports say Iran did not send aid units to the region.
VILLAGERS: “IRAN IS DISCRIMINATING”
One villager said everybody who lost their lives were buried in mass graves, the villagers have received no aid and three children have frozen to death to date.
Villagers said, “The government aid units are discriminating against us. The Iranian government wants to use the earthquake as an excuse to evacuate the border areas.”
