The vehicle Özer was driving drove off into a cliff on the Elazığ-Gözeli road. The vehicle was found yesterday in the late hours after Özer’s cell phone signal was traced.

Amed Sports made the following statement on their social media account: “We have lost our team captain and our brother Şehmus Özer in a traffic accident. We offer our condolences to all.”

Şehmus Özer was 36 and the captain of the Amedspor football team.
