Another mass grave discovered in Shengal

Yesterday, a mass grave containing the remains of victims of the Islamic State terrorist militia was discovered in Shengal, and YBŞ fighters found another mass grave near the site today.

Only yesterday, in a mass grave in the village of Til Ezer (Al-Qahtaniyya) to the southwest of Shengal, the bones of eight ISIS victims thought to be Yazidis were discovered.

Today fighters of the Shengal Resistance Units (YBŞ, Yekîneyên Berxwedana Şengal) have discovered another mass grave containing the remains of victims of the Islamic State terrorist militia.

The exact number of victims could not be determined yet. According to YBŞ fighter Agir Til Ezer, it will take some time for the investigations to be completed. It is believed that this find, too, is the bones of residents of the village, who failed to make it to the mountains on 3 August 2014, the day the terrorist militia raided the Shengal.
