A youth by the name of Süleyman Güleç was killed as the offensive by police and military forces got heavier late yesterday evening. The youth's body has been taken to Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Hospital for a post-mortem examination.
With Güleç's death, the number of the civilians killed by Turkish forces during the offensive rose to 7.
In the meantime, intensified attacks by military forces in the district are going on.
While tanks, armored vehicles and soldiers continue attacks from the Hill Gaza position to the south of the district, special operation teams also keep attacking the people on Eski Bitlis, Azizoğlu and Kaniya Derge streets.
