In Lice district of Amed, Turkish forces at YİBO Barracks conducted artillery strikes targeting the rural areas of Sisê (Yolçatı), Derxust (Dibek) and Qurmik (Yünlüce) villages.

The attacks started a fire in the forested area of Qurmik village and fire squads that wanted to intervene the fire were obstructed by soldiers on the grounds that “the zone is not safe”.

The fire is reported to be growing.
