Bab Executive Council released a written statement on Turkish state's invasion in Al-Raî town of Bab.

The Council condemned the Turkish invasion which -it said- manifested the Turkish government's failure in regional and international political arena.

The statement said; “The Turkish occupation took place on the grounds of terrorist groups' presence in Al-Raî town. However, the Turkish government has forgotten about its support to terror, and proved this reality by firing no single bullet in Jarablus before. This theater was staged between Erdoğan and ISIS.

We see the invasion of Al-Raî as an intervention on the internal affairs of the local people who defend their own lands and cleanse their lands of gang groups. Turkey's intervention on Al-Raî has been developed against the gains attained by SDF, Bab Military Council and Manbij Military Council in Shehba region."

Bab Executive Council continued, calling upon the international community and human rights organisations to put pressure on Turkey to give an end to its practices against the region and its people.

The Council also called on the SDF, Bab Military Council and all patriots to obviate the Turkish occupation.
