A blast has occurred during the passing of a freight train on Karpuzlu-Seyfülmülük route in Amed's cental Sur district Monday afternoon.

8 wagons of the freight train derailed as result of the blast, after which several ambulances and fire squads were dispatched to the scene.

While the blast did not cause any casualties, railway teams started works for the removal of the derailed wagons.
