A blast has occurred during the passing of a military vehicle in Sultan Şehmus locality at the 25th km of Mardin-Amed highway Friday noon.

While Turkish sources report 3 soldiers dead, the wounded soldiers, reported to be 6, were taken to Mardin State Hospital with ambulances. The highway has been closed to traffic in the wake of the blast.
