Bodies of two slain youths finally retrieved from Sur and identified

Mesut Seviktek and İsa Oran were murdered in Sur 28 days ago; Ramazan Öğüt 21 days ago and Rozerin Çukur 12 days ago. Bodies of all remained where they were had been killed for no ambulance has been allowed into the district to retrieve the bodies of slain youths.
Families of the four youths have been on hunger strike for the past 18 days to get the bodies of their children left to rot on street for weeks.
Today, Diyarbakır Governor's Office called Human Rights Association (IHD) branch and informed that two bodies were retrieved from Yavuz Selim Elementary School and taken to Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital.
Mesut Seviktek's elder brother İhsan Seviktek and İsa Oran's father Mehmet Oran, who have been are among those joining the hunger strike, therewith went to the hospital and identified the bodies, to see that both had been considerably damaged on face after 28 days on street after death. Prosecutor has asked blood sample from families for a definite identification.
Families accompanied by IHD and MEYA-DER officials as well as a large number of people are waiting outside the hospital to get the bodies, after which both will be laid to rest in Yeniköy Cemetery.
