The anti-terror branch of Diyarbakır Police Directorate was targeted by a bombing early Friday morning, resulting in casualties and injuries, according to initial reports.

The anti-terror branch building was heavily damaged as a result of the bombing after which dozens of ambulances, fire trucks and armored vehicles were dispatched to the scene.

As police forces are evacuating the building due to gas leakage, there is an intense activity of helicopters over the area.
