As the onslaught in Amed's central Sur district continues in its 49th day, artillery and tank strikes by Turkish state forces have remarkably intensified since early this morning.

Turkish troops deployed around Mardin Kapı Primary School are conducting uninterrupted artillery and tank attacks on the areas protected by the people.

While no news can currently be received from many civilians in Fatih Paşa neighborhood where severe clashes are taking place, Hasırlı Mosque in the area has also been hit by bombs and got greatly damaged.
