Co-mayor Evin Keve had been detained as a result of a house raid by special operation police last night. She was referred to courthouse after procedures at police station earlier today.
On the basis of her remarks in an interview she gave to JINHA news agency on 2 December, Keve was arrested and sent to Van M Type Closed Prison on charges of “disrupting the unity and integrity of the state” and “possibility of declaring self-rule”.
