Leyla, the 7 years-old daughters of Martyr Commander Faysal Abu Leyla who had said that she was proud of her father, said that her father fell as martyr for Manbij and fought ISIS gangs bravely. Leyla said that she used to ask her father when he would come home and bring her gifts, and Faysal Abu Leyla would tell her that he would not come home until the liberation of Manbij.

Dicle Ehmed, wife of Abu Leyla, said that she was happy to see the realizations of her husband’s dream: the liberation of Manbij. Ehmed congratulated SDF fighters and martyrs for their victory in Manbij, and said that the fighters fulfilled their promise to her martyred husband with their liberation of Manbij.
