As attacks by Turkish forces continue, 65-year-old Abdülkadir Yılmaz suffered a heart attack in his house in Duruca (Kertwênê) neighborhood Monday afternoon. The man could be taken to hospital only 3 hours later as no ambulance had possibility of access to the area due to the police blockade on İpekyolu (Silk Road) route.
The man was taken to Nusaybin State Hospital to see that there was no doctor for his treatment, upon which he was referred to Diyarbakır Gazi Yaşargil Training and Research Hospital. The belated medical intervention, however, didn't help save Yılmaz.
In the meantime, body of Selamet Yeşilman, the civilian woman killed by police in her house in Nusaybin's Fırat neighborhood yesterday, has been handed over to her family following a post-mortem examination. The woman will be laid to rest in Ulak (Firfêlê) village of Şırnak's İdil district.
