Curfew has been declared in 12 villages in Mardin’s Ömerli district on the grounds of an operation to be launched by the Turkish army.
The curfew involves the villages of Kaynakkaya, Pınarcık, Havuzbaşı, İkipınar, Kömürlü, Kayagöze, Harmankaya, Taşlıca, Işıkdere, Ovabaşı, Duygulu and Heybeli.
Reports suggest that the Turkish army will start an operation in the region of the mentioned villages.
