A delegation of Iraqi Joint Operations Command officials went to Zakho, to the site of the massacre carried out by the Turkish state on 20 July.

According to the statement made by the Iraqi Security Media Office, a delegation of Iraqi Joint Operations Command officials went to Zakho to the site of the massacre carried out by the Turkish state on 20 July.

The delegation was headed by Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Abdulamir Shemeri.

It has been reported that a high-level military delegation visited the Border Guard Brigade in the town of Batifa in Zakho, located between the border between North and South Kurdistan.

The main purpose of the visit was said to be related to the massacre carried out by the Turkish state in Zakho on 20 July, in which 9 Arab citizens were killed.
