DEM Party convenes to discuss the “process”

Members of the DEM Party's Central Executive Committee convened to assess developments within the framework of the “Peace and Democratic Society Process.”

Members of the Central Executive Committee (MYK) of the Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party) convened to assess developments within the scope of the “Peace and Democratic Society Process.”

Co-Chairs Tuncer Bakırhan and Tülay Hatimoğulları chaired the meeting held at the party headquarters to assess current political developments.

In addition to developments taking place in the world and the Middle East, the meeting will address tensions between Iran and Israel and political developments in Syria.

It has been reported that the meeting will focus on the ongoing isolation of Abdullah Öcalan and the messages he has sent.

Developments related to the “Peace and Democratic Society Process” will be one of the main topics of discussion.

The meeting will also discuss the commission to be established in Parliament within this scope. In addition, the meeting will discuss who will be included in the delegation expected to meet with Abdullah Öcalan.

Another item on the agenda is the meetings to be held by Pervin Buldan and Mithat Sancar from the Imralı Delegation with AKP President Tayyip Erdoğan, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel. The MYK is expected to prepare a road map for these meetings.

Pressure on the opposition will also be discussed at the meeting.
