Disabled civilian shot by police in Cizre dies

Physically handicapped Osman Tekin was shot by a police bullet in the stomach outside his house on Yokuşlu Street of Cudi neighborhood. 50-year-old man lost his life as he couldn't be taken from the scene due to continued gunfire.

The man's death was verified by his son upon his arrival to the area hours later. His body has been taken into a house with the help of the people around.

A total of 33 civilians have been killed in the Kurdish Cizre town since the beginning of the most recent curfew 25 days ago.
