Encü: The attack in Roboski was deliberate and planned

HDP Şırnak MP Ferhat Encü said the second attempt at a massacre in Roboski was deliberate and planned, and said the attack was to give a message to the Kurdish people.
The bombing of citizens engaged in border trade Roboski village in Şırnak’s Uludere district from Bejûh (Gülyazı) Regimental Command was reminiscent of the attack in 2011 where TAF fighter jets had bombed and killed 34 civilians.
MP Encü spoke to DİHA and said the attack occurred at the same spot 34 citizens were massacred and that one man named Vedat Encü had lost his life in the attack.
Pointing out that the massacre had happened at the same spot and around the same time, Encü assessed the attack as “the second Roboski massacre”. Encü said a second massacre attempt was carried out before the perpetrators of the Roboski Massacre came to light and faced justice and stated that the ambulances weren’t allowed through this time around either. Encü said the roads were open and there was no life-threatening situation present, and stressed that the attack was deliberate and planned.
Calling everybody to speak out against the massacres in Kurdistan, Encü said the attack was not seperate from the genocidal attacks in Kurdistan. Stressing that AKP was resorting to attacks to create its hegemony, Encü said these attacks and massacres were meant as a message to the Kurdish people and other peoples. Encü called for reaction against these attacks and massacres.
Encü concluded with saying that “They want to convey the message that they can kill people in the same place, in the same manner and not answer for the crime, just like they did before by killing 34 people.”
