Demonstrations against the government continue across Southern Kurdistan. In the town of Rania, which is witnessing demonstrations with strong participation, Asayish (public security) forces attacked the demonstrators, killing 5 of them and wounding at least 80 others, according to a report by Southern Kurdistan based NRT television.
Anti-government protests continue in Rania as well as Sulaymaniyah, Halabja, Koyê, Kifrê, Qeladizê, Khurmal, Avreze, Chamchamal, Taqtaq, Sharezûr, Warma and Akra.
