Footage from guerrilla action in Heftanin, Southern Kurdistan

Three soldiers were killed in guerrilla action in Heftanin in late September.

Gerîla TV has published footage from an action in which guerrillas targeted Turkish troops in Heftanin region of Southern Kurdistan, Northern Iraq on September 24.

According to the statement of the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) Press Office, guerrillas struck the Turkish soldiers stationed on Hill Dupişk in Heftanin region at 10 am on September 24. The action was carried out in the scope of the Battle of Heftanin Revolutionary Campaign conducted by guerrilla forces in the region in response to Turkish occupation attacks.

Three soldiers were killed during the action, after which the Turkish army shelled the area with howitzers and mortars.
