The video footage shows that several policemen standing before Elçi and press members firstly fire on a group of people as they gather across the scene. Policemen suddenly turn towards Elçi's group and start to fire on them.
Two policemen are seen to be opening fire towards Elçi, which leaves him lying on the ground with a bullet shot in the head.
