Turkish state forces continue attacking the neighborhoods in Amed's central Sur district where a curfew has been imposed earlier today.

Four people have been wounded as a result of attacks by police forces, including one seriously. One of these has been shot in Hançepek area, and the other three on the street of the Four Footed Minaret which witnesses a heavy presence and activity of Turkish forces since the murder of Bar President Tahir Elçi in a shady armed attack on 28 November.

Special operation police have detained Ekrem Karatay (36) who carried one of the wounded to an ambulance in Keçi Burcu area.

It is reported that 3 Iranian lawyers have also been detained by police while visiting the scene where Elçi was killed.
