Guerrillas hit the Turkish soldiers on Koordine Hill in Hakkari’s Çukurca district on February 1st. Footage of the action has been published by Gerîla TV with the following information by HPG Press and Communications Center:

“At 10:30 on February 1st, our forces carried out an action against the Turkish military units stationed on Koordine Hill in Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. The containers and emplacements on the hill were hit effectively and one container was destroyed. 10 soldiers in the destroyed container were killed and 5 others were wounded. Following the action, the Turkish army bombed the area with howitzer and mortar fire and retrieved the bodies from the scene with Sikorsky type helicopters.”
