Gerîla TV has released footage from an action in which guerrillas targeted the Çeman outpost in Hakkari countryside on December 1st.

HPG Press Office gave the following information in Saturday’s statement on the mentioned action;

“At 13:10 on December 1st, our forces carried out an action against the Çeman outpost in Hakkari’s Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district. The armored vehicles, emplacements and shelters in the outpost compound were targeted by intense fire and one armored vehicle was destroyed. The fire that erupted in this vehicle as a result of strikes spread to the outpost building and ammunition store that consequently got destroyed. The invading Turkish forces that shelled the area with howitzer and mortar fire following the action, tried hard to put out the fire till 04:00 on December 2nd. The action resulted in casualties among Turkish soldiers but the exact number couldn’t be clarified by our side.”
