HPG Press Center announced the outcomes of actions against the Turkish army in various regions in Southern and Northern Kurdistan.

According to the statement on HPG’s website, guerilla forces carried out actions against the Turkish army in the Barzan, Lêlîkan and Hakkari’s Meskan regions. The HPG announced casualties as well.

YJA-STAR ACTION IN BRADOST

“As part of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Operation, our forces carried out a series of actions on May 15. The actions in the operation are as follows:

At 16:10, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish soldiers positioned on the Lelikan Hill in the Bradost region of Southern Kurdistan. 1 enemy soldier was killed in this action carried out by YJA-Star guerillas. Enemy forces raked through the surroundings wit A4’s and randomly fired rocketlaunchers following the action.

At 18:40, our forces carried out an action against Turkish soldiers positioned on the Eli Direj Strait in the Bradost region. The number of casualties could not be ascertained for this action, after which enemy forces randomly bombed the surroundings with Howitzers and mortars.

1 SOLDIER KILLED IN BARZAN

At 20:00, YJA-Star guerillas carried out an action against invading Turkish soldiers positioned on the Bayrak Hill in the Barzan region of Southern Kurdistan. 1 enemy soldier was killed in this action, after which the invasion forces randomly bombed the surroundings with mortars and Howitzers.

1 SOLDIER KILLED IN HAKKARI

As part of the Martyr Delal Amed and the Besta Martyrs Revolutionary Operation, our forces carried out an action against invading Turkish soldiers positioned on the Martyr Sidar Hill in Hakkari’s (Colemêrg) Meskan region on May 15 at 13:00. 1 enemy soldier was killed in this action, after which the invaders randomly bombed the area with mortars.
