According to the statement by HPG’s Press and Communication Centre, four Turkish soldiers were killed in Cukurca, a district of Hakkari province, on January 2.
Guerrillas targeted a Turkish army position in Xeregol hill, in rural Cukurca at 9h30 on Tuesday. At least four Turkish soldiers were killed in the action.
Turkish army bombed the area randomly after the incident.
In the statement, HPG gave detailed information about Turkish army operations between 19 November-24 December in Diyarbakir. HPG said that the operation lasted without a result.
In Sirnak Kurdish guerrillas took action against Gire Sinek military outpost in Uludere district. HPG reported one position destroyed and several Turkish soldiers killed and wounded.
