Yesterday about 11.00 a.m., guerrilla forces carried out actions from two sides against the Turkish troops located at the Perixane area in Cilo region. The action led to the death and wounding of several soldiers, however clear information on their number is not available yet. After the action, the area was bombed by the Turkish army.

OPERATION IN ESENDERE

On the other hand, the Turkish army conducted intensified reconnaissance activities in the countryside of Esendere town in Hakkari's Yüksekova district. The Turkish army launched an operation in the area afterwards, which began at 18.00 p.m. and is still continuing.

TROOPS DISPATCHED TO ÇUKURCA

Local sources reveal that since yesterday, a high number of Turkish soldiers are being dispatched to the brigade and the borderline in Hakkari's Cukurca district. The aerial activity of the Turkish army is also ongoing.
