The operation of Kurdish and Êzîdî forces to liberate Shengal town in South Kurdistan is going on.

HPG (People's Defense Forces) guerrillas and YBŞ (Shengal Resistance Units) combatants  who spoke to ANF while on their way to Shengal to join the liberation offensive going on, vowed to keep the operation going until the entire region is cleansed of ISIS gangs.

Freedom fighters also voiced strong determination for the liberation of Shengal.
