Guerrillas celebrate the 45th anniversary of the PKK in Xakurkê

Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas celebrated the 45th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Kurdistan (PKK) in the Xakurkê region of the guerrilla-held Medya Defence Zones in southern Kurdistan (northern Iraq).

Celebrations are taking place everywhere to mark 27 November, the 45th anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

In Xakurkê, guerrillas from the HPG (People’s Defense Forces) and YJA Star (Free Women’s Troops) gathered to celebrate the anniversary of the founding of the PKK.

the guerrillas danced around a fire, chanting the slogans “Bijî Serok Apo” (Long Live Leader Öcalan) “Bijî Berxwedane Gerilla” (Long Live the Guerrilla Resistance) and “Be Serok Jiyan Nabe” (No Life Without the Leader).
